Direction / Choreography

Pleasant is a New York City based director & choreographer whos aim is to reinvent, reimagine and revitalize storytelling in the theater bringing new concepts to traditional expectations. In New York City his work has been presented at Playwrights Horizons, New York City Center, MoMA and Lincoln Center along with directing and choreographing regionaly throughout the country. Selected work includes productions of Caroline, or Change, Ragtime, Rent, Spring Awakening, Cabaret, Chicago and Pippin. He is on faculty at Marymount Manhattan College, The Professional Performing Arts School and previously Assistant Program Director at The School At Jacobs Pillow Jazz / Musical Theatger Dance Program and The Boston Ballet School. Pleasant has presented work on The OWN Network, ABC’s The View and at The White House for First Lady Michelle Obama. He is a Broadway World Boston and National Youth Theater Award Winner for Direction and Choreography. Drew Minard

Boy / Co-Creator

Minard started his dance training at three. At age twelve, toured the country as Billy Elliot in the Tony award winning musical, Billy Elliot. After closing the production in Brazil, Drew moved to New York City to begin his education at the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan. Post Drew attended the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati before departing to make his Broadway debut in the original company of The Music Man and stayed with the show throughout its entire run which concluded in January 2023 and was nominated for six Tony Awards. Other credits include: West Side Story (Riff), A Chorus Line (Mike), The Barrow Group's The Beautiful Dark (Charlie), The Exonerated (Kerry), The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and many more. Drew is also active in the fight for LGBTQ+ equality in New York City. For over two years, he has worked with Research Foundation To Cure AIDS, helping coordinate fundraising and stem cell research, as well as various literary and creative endeavors to spread awareness and find a cure for AIDS. He is currently pursuing his B.A in Theatre at Columbia University. Drew is represented by Clear Talent Group, 44 West Entertainment, and Innovative Artists.
